I Wasn't Always Gay

Funny headline, huh?  Through junior high, I didn't react to the girls the way my friends did.  Things like, "look at those boobs," or "look at that sweet ass," just didn't excite me.  As a Sophomore, I tried dating a couple of times.  But unlike my friends, I wasn't looking to "nail that thing."  I was just looking for someone to hang out with.  I much more preferred hanging out with my guy friends.  And yes, there were those "curious moments" back then and perhaps a few masturbatory fantasies. Then on March 9, 2005, I lost my virginity to a girl.  Believe me, it didn't last long.  A boner is a boner.  And the minute I slipped it inside her, it was so warm and soft that I lost my load after just a few thrusts.  But the whole thing was kind of weird.  I tried it again with another girl that summer.  It felt good, but it didn't really turn me on (other than the great feeling of getting my balls off).
After a little soul-searching, I realized that I appreciate guys in a different way.  And whether or not sex was involved, I didn't really care that much (until I saw my first gay porn video online!).
I've never been able to find the perfect dude to connect with.  So many guys I've been with have either just been about the sex or they were so co-dependent that they were too much of a burden.  I've been called old-fashioned or old-school.  But I know he's out there somewhere.
In the meantime, a lot of jerking off and the occasional blow job satisfies the physical, and I'm alright with that for now.
